V.A.P.A. Club — Visual & Performing Arts
The Visual and Performing Arts Club invites students age 8 and up to explore their creative talents while building confidence, teamwork, and a love of the arts.
This program may be taken as a standalone offering or alongside the Core Learning Program. Our afternoon club meets Tuesdays from 3:15 to 5:15 PM and welcomes students age 8 and up.
V.A.P.A. is available to private-pay families and through most of the homeschool charters our families use. We will confirm your charter's current coverage.
Our club features:
- Music theory: rhythm, an introduction to reading music, and demonstrations on the piano
- Drawing: line and contour, then shading
- Drama and improv: acting, improvisation, and staying in character
- Movement: an introduction to dance and stage movement
Students enrolled in V.A.P.A. Club have the opportunity to showcase their talents in our major spring performance.
Tuition
- $150/month on its own
- $80/month alongside another Meadow View Learning program
Charter-eligible either way. No extra performance or costume fees. A non-refundable $150 registration fee applies once per family each program year, across all of our programs; charter funds do not cover it. A $200 withdrawal fee applies if a student withdraws after January 15, 2027, because students are cast in the spring performance by then.

Annual performances — no recital or costume fees
Our annual performances are included. There is no recital fee and no costume fee — the spring show is part of the club, not an extra.
Each autumn: a walk-through theatre experience
Every autumn, V.A.P.A. students turn one of our rooms into an immersive story that guests walk through. There is a plot and a historical setting, and the students are trained to stay in character the whole way through, which parents always notice. They help build it too: the set, the backgrounds, the lighting and the sound. It is family-friendly, with no gore.
Families are welcome. It is a fun way to see our space and meet our community.
